Re: Andy Ruiz

"Drop a load of weight", jesus how fat did he used to be??

That guy in the photo above is not an athlete!!

Like McDermott!

Reminds me of Fury actually - he seems to hover between 245 and 270lbs normally, but started his career weighing 290+

He seems completely unwilling or unable to control his weight, but gets credit all the same. I've never really seen what the hype is for, but I don't really care anyway.

Well, he has very, very fast hands, and fast reflexes as well. Seems to have pretty good ring IQ. Just a big 'ol sack of potential.

Sadly, he will likely never survive at elite level with all that baggage.

Re: Andy Ruiz

I just saw their fight, Andy Ruiz had impressive fourth round TKO over 45 year Ray Austin but too be frank if he ever gets matched with a half-decent heavyweight he might have tough time, but I would say Ray Austin doesn't fit into this category, Luckily he have never had fight with top UK heavyweights

Ooops, just forget to tell too many tottoos, Last time when I saw Andy Ruiz he didn't have many.

Re: Andy Ruiz

Ruiz is slowly but surely. He dropped a lot of weight in his last fights and his hand speed is able to beat anybody. I give it a good fight to the English Joshua.

Poor Ruiz if he dares. He needs a lot of hard work for not be knocked out cold versus Joshua.

Re: Andy Ruiz

Ruiz is a better fighter than his physique can make us believe, I think you should do still several fights with more or less important people and be ready to face the champions of the division. I would love to see him faced Haye and even Shannon Briggs with which you can mount a very good war.

Ruiz - Briggs would be a very interesting fight!

But Haye? Dislike the guy all you want, but Haye would likely destroy Fat Andy. He's just too fast & hits too hard. Stylistically almost the worst possible opponent, IMO.
