I've been watching a few of Makubu's fights and he looks like a methodical fighter - not overly quick but he does seem to pack power. I think it's a big test for him aswell - he's only had 14 or 15 fights. The early stoppage loss - I was informed was due to a similar injury that Odlanier Solis had against Vitali klitschko. I'd much prefer Cleverly to have a few lesser fights at the new weight. Get used to fighting at Cruiser but he's young, brave and has Joe Calzaghe helping out in training.
