I don't really think of it in terms of head-to-head sinceChavez was obviously bigger, a natural 140 pounder. Chavez had the gaudier record with the 100+ wins, but if you break it down into significant wins, then he doesn't really outdistance Arguello by all that much. I give Chavez the edge but I think it's a lot closer than many believe when we're talking pound-for-pound.

For a very long time Chavez was a super feather and lightweight. They could have fought on even terms at some point.
