The Dynamic Hispanic Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 Curious as to what the thoughts are of 122-pound Belfast prospect Carl Frampton? Have seen a handful of his fights and have come away impressed by him. Thinking maybe he could come through and make it to the world level. His fight with Vironin was especially good. He fought cautiously in round one and from round two onwards he put it on a guy who had like three times as many fights as him. I'm based out of the US so its hard to follow the UK scene sometimes, but I try. What are the hometown thoughts of the kid? And how would a fight with rival Scott Quigg play out? londoner Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 I'm very impressed with Carl. I think he's going to go very far. Barry McGuigan is always praising him. I think for a small fighter, he seems very powerful, fast, skillful etc. I think he'd beat Quigg to be honest but Quigg has had far more fights. Would be a great fight in a couple of years.
