Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker 24-1 (18) is looking forward to a return to Britain and he has the winner of next month’s match-up between Tony Bellew and David Haye in his sights.

The 26-year-old Kiwi lost his world title to unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua 21-0 (20) last month but put on a good showing in defeat as he became the first boxer to last the distance with the big-punching Pom.

Happy with that! Good start to build Parker back up again and get him a pay day at the same time. Would be happy with him fighting Ortiz, Miller, Povetkin or Whyte as well.

Clearly a step back on his boxing career. None of Bellew or Haye are world class HW´s right now.

Parker needs to fight active fighters if he needs more recognition.

Would like to see Parker against Miller, Whyte or Povetkin ideally as he makes his way back up. He still performed well in his loss to Joshua and is definetly a credible top 5 HW opponent. I don't think it would be a step back for Parker as he could get a nice pay day and known name on his record if he wins.
