  1. Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk rescheduled for 18 May with huge penalty for a withdrawal. It was also confirmed that a deal has been agreed stating if either man pulls out of the fight set for that date then they will owe their opponent $10m of their own money. Metro
  2. The show is going ahead as planned. Here is Tyson's replacement.
  3. Need to get Paris talking to Fury, she found a way to stop him pulling out. Let's face it she has 7 kids with him so must have a trick to stop him pulling out.
  4. Sylvester Stallone has paid tribute to his Rocky co-star, Carl Weathers, saying he is "torn up" following news of the star's death aged 76. Link RIP
  5. Tyson Fury’s fight with Oleksandr Usyk has been postponed, after the Briton suffered a ‘freak cut’ in training. The bout, which was scheduled for 17 February in Saudi Arabia, was due to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 24 years. However, it was announced on Friday (2 February) that the fight has been pushed back, after Fury sustained a severe cut over his eye while sparring. Link
  6. Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou promised winner will get undisputed title shot On the Joshua vs Ngannou undercard, it was also confirmed Joseph Parker, the man who derailed plans for ‘AJ’ to meet Deontay Wilder, will take on Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/boxing/anthony-joshua-and-francis-ngannou-promised-winner-will-get-undisputed-title-shot/ar-AA1n0I5m
  7. Kenny Bayless announces that he is retiring at the age of 73. The legendary boxing referee dedicated over 40 years to boxing and is highly regarded as one of the greatest ref’s the sport has seen. Lovely picture of him and his boss...
  8. All I got from this boxing event is that is Tyson Fury actually very good? Parker done an absolute job on Wilder, never looked uncomfortable whereas Fury was in uncomfortable positions at some point in all 3 fights with Wilder. And AJ never came out of 2nd gear and absolutely destroyed Wallin, whereas Fury went to hell and back against Wallin.
  9. Can't edit my previous post... I thought Dubois did well, started off positively, came a bit unstuck after 3 rounds, then picked it up again. He needed a good win for his confidence.
  10. Wilder was shockingly bad, even by his own low standards. He did virtually nothing and thought he'd won the fight. I will give him credit for his chin though, a lot of fighters would have been on the mat from the punches Parker landed. Joshua looked a lot better than we've seen recently. We'll see if he picks up the IBF strap in 2024. 3 Time?
  11. The World Boxing Association has confirmed the creation of an eighteenth division in its ranks, joining the World Boxing Council’s bridgerweight revolution. WBA chiefs announced this week despite criticism of the 200- to 224-pound weight class since its inception in 2020. The WBC first approved the abridgment between cruiserweight and heavyweight in 2019. They crowned its first champion a year later when Oscar Rivas took the belt. Since then, it’s been a less than lukewarm reception for bridgerweight despite those struggling to dent against the bulkier heavies. The WBA has now validated the WBC in a move that has solidified the stance of having eighteen divisions instead of seventeen.
