LOL I wondered what was going on there for a minute and then remebered it's PBC tripe yet again. Funnily enough Saunders is the one I give Plant the best chance against so they might want to revise their narrative and make it happen. Plant called out Benavidez after his win last night too though so fair play, would be a good good fight but I can't see past a Benavidez victory if I'm honest, still, let's get it on for sure!

I watched the whole presser, I heard the comments but they just didn't make sense to me (because I didn't know she was disabled) so I didn't worry about it, thought it was some inside joke or something, I even skipped past an interview with her earlier but I'll go find and watch it now I think. And you right, she was goading him after Sam Jones got it started, I guess in the overall context it wasn't sooo terrible but still.. I hope 3D had a quiet word with her afterwards, would be nice if he clarified on camera too that he didn't mean any offence and that he's spoken to Joe's mum but maybe that's just me.

I guess what it comes down to is what one deems to be worse than another, you express that Saudi is worse than the US, some will beg to differ and if you lived in Saudi and were exposed to the media there as opposed to where you live, you'd probably have the opposite viewpoint. CNN don't bleat on about the terrible atrocities the US commit around the world but will gladly run the story if the Saudi's or Iraqi's commit the same infringements, I imagine this is the same in Saudi. So, what we may agree on here then is anywhere the boxing is held is going to provide opportunity for criticism of some sort. Calzaghe is actually my favourite fighter funnily enough, I mean of all time (which usually draws raised eyebrows lol) I know he wasn't the greatest to ever have laced them up but he's my guy, definitely on the short list for the prize in the previous decade, 100%!
