  1. Re: Povetkin's promoter wins purse bid for Wilder vs Povetkin Wasn't just talking boxing-wise but fair points.
  2. Re: Drozd - Makabu is off, yet again! Bunch of grandma fighters, breaking hips at training.
  3. Re: Povetkin's promoter wins purse bid for Wilder vs Povetkin Big fight in the corruption centre of the world, lovely.
  4. Former world champion Zab Judah and promoter Roy Englebrecht were suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Friday -- and the card Judah was scheduled to headline on Saturday night in Las Vegas was canceled -- because NSAC executive director Bob Bennett said they "provided the commission with false licensing documents." Judah (42-9, 29 KOs), 37, a former three-time junior welterweight titleholder and the former undisputed welterweight world champion, was scheduled to face Josh Torres (15-4-2, 7 KOs) in a 10-round junior welterweight fight in the main event of the D Las Vegas' "Knockout Night at the D" series at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. The card was supposed to be the first of eight in the series, which was scheduled to be televised on CBS Sports Network. Judah was going to be fighting for the first time since a decision loss to former welterweight and junior welterweight titleholder Paulie Malignaggi in December 2013. "According to Nevada statute and upon my recommendation and that of [commission member] Anthony Marnell III we have temporarily suspended Zab Judah and Roy Englebrecht and the reason for that is because they provided the commission with false licensing documents," Bennett told ESPN. "They will be called before the commission on March 23. At that point in time we will provide a complaint with the specifics of their suspensions. These clowns... 5. Re: Drozd - Makabu is off, yet again! What the hell... was looking forward to this one. That's like the fourth fight that's gone off this week.
  6. Re: Celestino Caballero Arrested, Alleged To Have 10 Kilos of Cocaine Yeah, where there is a drug market/drug trafficking there are cartels and mental gangs, not the places you wanna wander off into the wrong territories. I used to think Panama was like a country-version of a beach resort but nah ah.
  7. Re: Lemieux missed catchweight - fight off Ah such a thin margin.. But rules are rules.
  8. Re: Celestino Caballero Arrested, Alleged To Have 10 Kilos of Cocaine Pretty corrupt them too but when it comes to the drugs they are probably pretty sick of Colombia bringing violence and drug abuse all over their country ;-)
  9. Re: Flanagan vs Mathews, thoughts? Yeah, Flanagan has this fight locked in, Matthews is powerless.
  10. Re: Celestino Caballero Arrested, Alleged To Have 10 Kilos of Cocaine Incredibly stupid trying to traffic drugs from colombia, probably the most well-known drug trafficing border in the world. They take it very seriously in Panama so it will definitely be several years in some low-grade prison.
  11. Celestino Caballero Arrested, Alleged To Have 10 Kilos of Cocaine According to multiple sources in Panama, charismatic Panamanian boxer Celestino 'Pelenchin' Caballero was arrested on Thursday after law officers discovered 10 kilos of what they suspect is cocaine in the boxer's vehicle during a traffic stop. A prosecutor for the local Attorney General's Office, which handles drug related crimes, said Caballero was apprehended on a highway transporting 10 packages that are allegedly filled with cocaine in a Toyota Corolla with plate number AJ 3359. During a search of the vehicle, they found 5 kilos in the trunk, hidden within a toolbox, and then another 5 kilos were found in a plastic bag. The drug have a street value of $600,000 USD. The boxer was alone in the car and did not resist officers. The police report noted - "I was able to stop this vehicle. He was alone, and handled by our anti-drug units. H did not resist arrest and he said to us that he was carrying something illicit in the car. We found ten rectangular packages that are being analyzed. Caballero was taken to a local police sub-station and then he will be handed over a united specializing in drug prosecutions. The former two-division world champion announced his retirement in November of 2014, due to a retina injury after 43 fights with 37 wins. 13. Re: Rigo out of Dickens fight due to visa issues? What a tedious oversight to not sort a visa out, back to americas and try again lol.
  14. Re: What fight/fight's are you looking forward to the most? Anthony Joshua vs Charles Martin and GGG vs Wade, not to far away!
