  1. Re: ASK THE STAR: Frank Buglioni How did the nickname Wise Guy come about and whats the meaning behind it?
  2. After Joshua defeats the Ukrainian will people then start respecting Joshua for his win or will they disregard it because of Klitschko's age and the fact that he already lost to Tyson Fury?
  3. Re: Boxrec - boxer ratings So there going to rate his fight vs Klitschko as a 4 star fight? Boxrec is a JOKE at times.
  4. Re: Paulie Malignaggii vs Ricky Burns - who wins? (talks ongoing) Tough fight and a real 50/50 hmmmmmmmmmm :noidea: I'd favor Paulie Malignaggi due to his fight experience if push came to shove.
  5. Re: Will Wilder get the big fights he craves in 2017? I can't see if unless USA TV invest a lot of money in him. Maybe they can offer Parker a fight but after today's performance I can't see it appealing to the American audience.
  6. Re: Are the British public starting to turn against David Haye? With Joshua being a fans favourite now its only natural how boxing fans will turn against him. There was a few clapping Haye but that was a minority. Glory Football Hunters aka now turned Boxing Hunters with a vast knowledge for the weekend you did us proud :clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2: A very dangerous fight for Joshua as Haye fit or unfit carries a lot of power.
  7. re: Joshua vs Klitschko R by R Klitschko has experience and I think he will bully the inexperienced Joshua. Klitschko has ring generalship that Joshua can only dream of - Joshua thanks to Hearns poor match making isn't ready for Klitschko. Klitschko by late KO or on PTS and yes in UK. Hearn hang your head in shame!
  8. When the bell rang and both fighters approached each other I was saying to myself it looks like a sports athlete vs a pub doorman - they looked miles apart in terms of physique. I'm still learning the sport and I have a question for you. If you compare Wilder vs Molina and Joshua vs Molina, what would you say? How do you compare both fighters against Molina based on both fighters performance vs Molina. Who do you think would win, Wilder or Joshua (based on the fight against Molina)? I look forward to your views and reply's, thanks.
  9. I was reading a story today on Sky Sports were Joshua admitted he was floored in sparring by David Price. Obviously they are different fighters now and both have been on separate paths in their careers. But, do you think Price can floor/KO again or even defeat Joshua? ----- Anthony Joshua has admitted that David Price did floor him in a sparring session back in 2010. Joshua defends his IBF world heavyweight title on December 10 on Sky Sports Box Office against Eric Molina rather than Price, who claimed he knocked him out in what was "probably the worst kept secret in boxing", until now. "Yes, he dropped me in sparring and I continued training and that's why I am here now," Joshua told Sky Sports. "In a sense, you have to look at these things as a blessing in disguise because in boxing, a lot of people get dropped, get hurt and then go on and do great things. "A lot of people get scared and go into a shell, but I just learnt from my mistakes and just carried on with my career." Price brought the knockdown to the forefront of boxing's attention in August when he put his name forward to be Joshua's next world title challenger, having claimed to have kept it quiet because his British rival "was an up-and-coming potential boxer" before saying he "wanted to protect him and didn't want to go around boasting about it". Joshua vs Molina: I was floored in sparring by David Price, says Anthony Joshua | Boxing News | Sky Sports
  10. Boxers that are no longer around and who you miss watching? Favourite memory's of them? Few of mines are Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Chris Eubank Snr, Joe Calzaghe, Ricky Hatton, Frank Bruno, Evander Holyfield, George Foreman, Jose Luis Castillo, Diego Corrales, Kostya Tszyu and Naseem Hamed. I better leave some for you guys, my list could of been so much bigger.
  11. Re: Bogdan Dinu, fighting this Friday. His manager is Sorin Florea who owns a company called King Promotion SRL. It could be that he doesn't have a promoter just a manager who puts him on his and other promoters cards.
  12. Re: Tyson Fury vacates WBO and WBA heavyweight titles to deal with 'recovery' It wouldn't surprise me if his so called 'mental health problems' were all fake to cover up and his drug/drug testing in an attempt to get away with it - After all how can we believe the Fury's? Didn't they say Fury wasn't on drugs? Then he failed a test for Nandrolone then later cocaine. Have they ever heard of 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'.
  13. Re: Best boxing nicknames The Italian Stallion (Rocky Balboa) The Hawk (Aaron Pryor) "Baby" Joe Mesi Beast from the East (Nikolay Valuev) A few I like.
  14. Re: Luke Campbell - After fight thoughts Best fight of the night for me. Shame it didn't last longer than it did. I think this may be the last we see of Mathews. Campbell should nice footwork/technique and his his speed and accuracy were there for all to see against Derry. But, I am worried when he steps it up that he will become feather fisted.
  15. Re: Donald Trump says concussions are just a little ding Are we sure Trump isn't suffering from concussion or brain trauma? Every time he opens his mouth, there is an outcry.
