  1. I think it's a true 50/50 fight. I wouldn't be surprised if the fight goes the distance. Favor Bivol if he doesn't get dropped. Rooting for Artur, because i have signed gloves by both. But the Bivol was is smudged. haha
  2. Michael Woods of NYFights got the update. He's doing better. https://nyfights.com/worldwide/larry-merchant-health-update/
  3. Can't imagine how Callum is gonna deal with a pent up Beterbiev, i'd likely bet under 6 rounds in this fight.
  4. You listed all the fights i would've mentioned. Hmm how about an honorable me Abraham Nova vs Adam Lopez.
  5. Was a fun fight. If Browne wasn't so washed himself, he might've been able to do something against Miller in the 5th, cuz he looked gassed out. Wouldn't be surprised if we get Browne vs Justis Huni later this year.
  6. Ugh i think thats gonna be the last time i ever watch a Yoka fight. He's terrible. It's either his incapable or unwilling to throw punches. BTW was Takam injured at the end? Looked like he was in pain when the ref tried to lift his right arm as they announced him as the winner.
  7. Man, that was a fun card. Hurd is pretty much cooked at 160, but it was entertaining while it lasted. I had the Fig vs May fighter closer than the official cards.
  8. This is a good featherweight fight. Might be Dogboe last chance to re-capture another world title. I was at both fights he lost against Naverette. Amazing he's in this position, years after those two beatings. As for Robeisy, supremely talented in skill. I was at his career low, and career high. Was in Philly to see him lose his pro debut, then at his fight where he destroyed Nova. Ramirez vs Luis Lopez is a fight i would love to see at the end of the year.
  9. i hope they both lose their next fight. I've been actively rooting for both of them to lose for the last several years.
  10. Joyce by decision. I think he might drop Zhang a couple of times to seal the win. Awesome fight.
  11. Wow, he's a fighting i had completely forgot about. Thanks for the reminder.
  12. I watched the ESPN+ broadcast with the Top Rank crew. I felt they were fair with their commentary. I didn't like them during the Dalakian fight. They felt it was a robbery, and keep going on and on about it. Was a close fight, no robbery. Also didn't care for Bradley saying that Yarde acting jittery during the early rounds was a good thing, and might confuse Beterbiev. Heard that the judges had Yarde ahead at the time of the stoppage. Not sure about that.
  13. Great fight. 5th round is a candidate for Round of the Year. 7th round wasn't too shabby as well. Great ebb and flow, with the momentum shifts. Yarde fought his heart out, and deserves all the credit fighting so valiantly in defeat. I was more impressed with Yarde in defeat, than i was in most of his victories. As for Beterbiev, he's a machine. Got hurt a couple of times, but was smart enough to retreat in angles, and use his jab. In any of the rounds he was hurt during the middle of the round, he closed it out strong, by battering Yarde. Tremendous fight.
