Evander Holyfield v Alexander Povetkin for December 17th in Zurich, Switzerland...Holyfield has a heart of a Warriror.....hopefully he makes a good account of himself and then retire for good....has he got a chance?.....I don't know....should he be still fighting?....probably not.....Holyfield will be 49 by fight time...can he turn back time and beat Povetkin?

Job Biscuit (Holy Holyfield..u r a GREAT)!!!

It was an all-around embarrassment for Atlas, who rails against the Orgs but then hypocritically and selfishly peddles this as a real title fight. Povetkin is the Champion of nothing, and Atlas' Ego-feeding claim to training a second HW Champion is laughable. It'll be funny watching him make a fool of himself on the air trying to legitimize this Holyfield fiasco.

Atlas's comments about magic in the corner...f***** disgusting!

Teddy is embarrassing himself and it's simply amazing that he can't even see it. This Povetkin WBA situation is everything he's ranted about is wrong with the sport, but since it's his guy then he'll go along with it. Atlas' creditably, or what was left of it, went completely down the drain with this fight and I don't recall a bigger hypocrite in my 45 years of watching boxing.

This fight is a disgrace. Not only has Povetkin won the cheapest World title of any division out there he now might defend it against the old and delusional Holyfield.

Why would Povetkin (a supposed prime HW) even accept a bout with Holyfield? My assumption is that he's just avoiding a fight with Wlad and taking the easiest defence possible (aside from Audley Harrison). But is Holyfield even worth that much money? Would Povetkin get more money from fighting someone less old but just as bad?

I wonder how much money Holyfield made for that joke fight he just had in Denmark with Neilsen, it couldn't have been much. He has to be doing this for next to nothing, are there still enough people that would go to something like this simply to say "I once saw Evander Holyfield fight"? Because to be honest, that's the only reason anyone would.
