smokin
ron lyle vs david haye this is obviously a heavyweight fight over 12 rounds i am unsure but am leaning toward lyle .haye has the speed advantage in this but lyle could bang and had for me the better chin i take lyle by a mid to late round stoppage
Yiddle
Hayes speed may give lyle a little tiny bit of trouble very early but i dont see haye's power being able to trouble lyle .lyel by 5th round ko
Dallen
Ron lyle would have to much for Haye,Haye would dominate the early rounds but Lyle would catch up with him in the later rounds.
grapevine241
haye would lose badly then whine about it
WelshDevilRob
If Haye had an injured toe like he did in the Wlad fight then he would get Ko'd early. Lyle would show Wlad how you deal with injured foes instead of cheating and holding on for dear life at the thought of getting hit. In saying that Lyle Ko's a fit and healthy Haye aswell. Lyle seems the sort that is hard to shake off.
McBride
Lyle took Foremans punches for 5 rounds, and had some success of his own, nothing Haye has would trouble him.
Wheelchair
Lyle took Foremans punches for 5 rounds, and had some success of his own, nothing Haye has would trouble him. Agreed. Even if they were of the same era, I couldn't see Haye taking the fight anyway. There would have been easier options.
londoner
Lyle wins every time. Haye is a pretty decent HW in this era but Lyle was a top contender in the greatest era of HW boxing. He might have lost to the elite like Foreman and Ali but the latter two are heads and shoulders above any HW of the last decade or so. However Lyle did KO Buster Mathis and Earnie Shavers. Lyle might have struggled to beat Vitali Klitschko but i have no doubt he'd have one or two of the World titles in this era.
chaconfan
Re: ron lyle vs david haye If a very old light heavy can stop Haye, Lyle would kill his second person.
