RAZZ-MCFC
Floyd is the best trainer in the game bar none. Say what you like about him as a fighter or outside of the ring, but when it comes to training he gives it 110% and leaves no stone unturned. It takes massive commitment to get up at 5am everyday and go for a run when the majority of other fighters are still asleep.
McBride
I thought it showed he was a dedicated trainer, when the 30 day weight check showed him as 148, to Ortiz 159.

There's many reason you could use as to why he's the best trainer in the sport. Makes me laugh when people use the term 'ring rust' with Floyd. He's stayed in shape his whole life, even when he's out of the ring for a year he still trains as hard. There's just no way a guy like Floyd can let something like ring rust be his downfall. People just use it as another way to try and put him down in the build up to a fight, but as always, it'll be business as usual for Floyd.
WelshDevilRob
His head in the 1st photo looks photoshot. Floyd looks old.
gavpowell
I'd say Hopkins is arguably a better trainer than Floyd because he's been doing it longer and is much older.
grapevine241
one thing that is a bit underrated about floyd is that he does essentially train himself... roger and the team are there of course, but you never hear anything about floyd being lazy or being forced to give 100%. i think its true in the ring as well. Does that not just show that Ortiz is the bigger man? I doubt Ortiz will be much under 160 come fight night...

Hmmm, interesting because the Mayweather haters were trying to claim that he weighed almost 160 by the time he got in with JMM, rather than admit he just made Marquez look an idiot due to superior boxing skills. I dont think I've ever seen Hopkins box and move for 12 rounds in a competetive fight, and look like he could easily do another 12. I have, however seen him hold, spoil, complain to the ref and other sorts of crap.

I think most were saying he deliberately missed a contracted weight and Marquez looked flabby at the weight rather than saying that Floyd was at 160. The issue was that Floyd didn't seem to try to make the catchweight.
