WelshDevilRob
Sor Rungvisai Shocks Tomas Rojas, Wins WBC Crown By Carlos Costa in Srisaket, Thailand In yet another 2011 shocker, Suriyan Sor Rungvisai (19-5-1, 7 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Tomas Rojas (36-13-1, 24KOs) to capture the WBC super flyweight title at Khunmuangsri stadium in Srisaket, Thailand. The scores were 116-112, 117-111 and 115-114 for the new champion. The three judges were from America, Belgium and Japan. Rojas tried to box from the distance in the early rounds but then changed his tactics when the fight appeared to be in doubt, as he tried in desperation to secure a knockout in the later rounds but it never came.
