The_budweiser
Anthony Joshua weighed in at 19 lbs heavier than Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua weiged in at 240 lbs 17.1429 (17.14 Stone) Usyk weighed in at a career high 221 lbs (15.07 Stone) If Usyk sets a fast pace do you think Joshua's weight will effect his stamina? How do you see the fight going? Will weight play into either fighters hands?
BoztheMadman
Yes, he looks slightly less defined around the midsection. I don't know, for a guy of his size 240 isn't that much. I do believe Joshua will, if he tries to knock out Usyk before round 9, tire himself out and gas by round 10. That is why a couple guys I know (who are seriously into boxing) are predicting Usyk to win by a stoppage between rounds 10 and 12. 1
Ledhed1
The funny thiing is there was buzz about Usyk being bulked up but he's just a couple pounds heavier than last year. AJ heavier than he's been since he lost to Ruiz. Doesn't change much for Usyk but may work against AJ if anything.

If Usyk sets a fast pace we may see Joshua blow out of steam like we have done in the past. I wonder if Joshua's game plan will be to start fast and try get him out there or pace himself and look an opening. I think he'll pace himself but the longer the fight goes on I think he'll be in trouble!
Bear Hugger
Usyk is on record saying that the first fight wasn't as easy as everyone said. I still think Usyk wins again, but I wouldn't be surprised if Joshua managed an upset.
WelshDevilRob
Think the weights are fine for both boxers. Really looking forward to this rematch.
BoztheMadman
Hrgovic definitely needs to put on some more weight, his shots had next to zero effect on Zhang. 1

I'd think he'd leverage his power with no loss of speed at 255.

That's because most of them were blocked. 🙂 Also - (seriously) Hrgovic always softens up his opponents with a constant barrage of blatant rabbit punches. For some reason, he didn't throw many (any?) against Zhang, so perhaps his clean offense is just not very good, and we never noticed before.

Seriously, did you not see Zhang wince from them? But he took them well. The guy had his first fight in almost a year! And his father died recently. Give him credit for maintaining his composure.
