LondonRingRules
--- Supposed to be a gene predisposing alcoholism passed along thru our ages much like diabetes or obesity. Russians have a massive drinking culture as exemplified by Stalins rule where his generals had to keep up with him or else. In America the tolerance levels are farcically low , just above teetotaler as a new industry to keep gvt coffers filled, lawyers fatted, and rehabilitation clinics feted. Sergeys biggest prob is a legal settlement with the gal he supposedly battered. He might see time in the big house for that. Terrible fall from grace. BoztheMadman
So sad...but not unexpected. He's trying to drown out the disappointment over that loss and the realisation his career is over. The good part, anyway. The Eleider loss was the first sign. Ward loss (the real one) was not as bad, as he was also fouled and had the ref against him. But getting blown out like that by Eleider was bad. I always knew Eleider is a good fighter but never thought he was good enough to knock out Kov. LondonRingRules
--- Bad loss, but he did a number in the rematch and then Yarde, back at the top. i don't discount he could return their if he can stay out of prison. Musta been blind drunk to follow that woman home and then beat her up.
WelshDevilRob
I always believe that it was the drink that shortened Krusher's career rather than age. Money and the drink brought him down.
BoztheMadman
I always believe that it was the drink that shortened Krusher's career rather than age. Money and the drink brought him down. It seems so...that charge of "inapropriate behavior" around that woman and his stupid borderline racist posts about Stevenson. Maybe that last thing wasn't alcohol-inspired, but maybe it was.
