LondonRingRules
--- Berchelt ko Roman in the 9th of an all action bout. Boxing News: Berchelt stops Roman, keeps WBC 130lb title >> November 3, 2018
pittbox
Re: WBSS- Berchelt vs Roman Painfully one-sided. Ref and the corner should've stopped it way earlier. Roman took extra-ordinary amount of power shots. He should call it a day in my opinion if he takes care about the health.
Cableaddict
Re: WBSS- Berchelt vs Roman It was a great fight, for about 2-3 rounds. I was shocked at how slow Roman's hands were. He managed to land quite a few clean blows, even some in the later rounds, but that lack of speed meant no real power. I can't say I was impressed with Berchelt at all. His defense is terrible, and his balance is suspect. Nice offense, but that only goes so far. If Roman had had just a a hair more speed, or more power (same thing, really) Berchelt would probably have been KO'd. Maybe Berchelt is young enough to learn from this fight, but those are some REALLY bad flaws. I suspect his trainer my not be the right guy for the job. Cableaddict
Re: WBSS- Berchelt vs Roman I guess it's all relative, in terms of being impressed or rating a fighter - but Who do You see beating him at Super Featherweight right now? ........ . You make good points. (All of it.) But still, his time at the top is limited, unless he can fix those defects. I'm not sure he's even that big of a puncher. He's certainly fun to watch, though. Good for the sport, overall.
Ton
Re: WBSS- Berchelt vs Roman I suspect his trainer my not be the right guy for the job. Another trainer to blame :haha: Should just let the trainers go at it since you seem to give them such creedence

Ton
Re: WBSS- Berchelt vs Roman Wait - You don't? :noidea: No....they can only do so much. It's the fighter that's in the ring that has the ability, and ideally the brain to fight to a plan or adjust accordingly to be victorious. I'm not saying trainers are pointless at all, but a LOT of your posts point the finger at trainers when a fighter losses, has an off night or just looks bad.
