pittbox
Who else thinks that Lederman was in the worst shape of his career last Saturday? Him constantly having problems with how to say so "difficult" name of Kazuto Ioka correctly sounded weird to me. Then we saw his work with the main event fight. His scorecard of Estrada v Orucuta was like flipping a coin. How could he have Orucuta 48-47 ahead after 5 rounds? It was hard to have him winning any of these rounds, let alone round one, which Harold had for him. Then Orucuta had his best round (round 6) and Lederman scored it for Estrada :noidea: Rest of the HBO crew bought Lederman's rhetoric of this fight being close, but it wasn't. Overall, it sounded to me like Lederman badly needs to retire. The age's catching up.
LondonRingRules
Re: Harold Lederman should retire --- Doubt it's age as much as the free libations proffered for a boxing "expert" of his caliber. Same happened to Larry, and frankly at this point there are zero mainstream media worth more "than a bucket of warm spit" to quote John Nance Garner. There are fringe media still loyal the essence of the fighters, but we are all arguable as to our opinions in the end.
