pittbox
Do you think Pedraza has a chance to take a belt from Beltran in the first defence of the belt? I actually din't like Mexican's performance in his last fights over Moses and Vasquez that much. Pedraza isn't that special either, but he was a champ and scored a nice vitory over Anonio Moran in the last fight. I think it looks like an interesting bout. We're also going to see Isaac Dogboe defending his belt for the first time. His opponent is Hidenori Otake, who has already fougt for a world title. In the 2014 he lost the unanimous decision over Scott Quigg and is undefeated since then. Edited August 26, 2018 by LondonRingRules
BoztheMadman
Re: Ray Beltran v Jose Pedraza Beltran IS getting on in age and Pedraza is no world beater but definitely is no chump, so...I'd say it's a 50-50 fight. Beltran may be the slightly favoured one perhaps, by the judges, maybe not.

repsac
Re: Ray Beltran v Jose Pedraza Watching these undercard bouts on ESPN+ Verdejo conquering Lozado in tough tonight. This kid Macias is one to keep an eye on.
pittbox
Re: Ray Beltran v Jose Pedraza As I predicted Pedraza had more to say than expected. Proper decision and Beltran clearly looked past-prime tonight.
repsac
Re: Ray Beltran v Jose Pedraza I would've been ok with any scorecards that were 1-5 points in Pedraza's favor. He really turned it on in the 10th round. Looked like he was snapping his punches just a little bit more, to send a message to Beltran that he was taking that title to Puerto Rico. I doubt he beats Loma or Mikey, looks like next up will be Loma in Cali on December 1st. Thinking about making the trip out west.
Cableaddict
Re: Ray Beltran v Jose Pedraza What I liked is that Pedrazza showed depth: He lived up to his nickname for most of the fight, mostly off the back foot and waiting for that sniper shot, which paid off in the 11th. - Yet he was able to come forward like a mofo at the end of round 12, keeping Beltran from possibly taking that round. I've never been a fan, but that was an impressive performance.
