pittbox
Julio Ceja, #1 WBC super bantamweight, known from two fast-paced wars against Hugo Ruiz and huge KO win over Anselmo Moreno, has lost against unknown Franklin Manzanilla. Ceja surrendered after four rounds, citing broken nose as the reason. Venezuelan Manzanilla hardly fought anyone worth of note before this contest and the outcome of the fight is shocking for Mexican fans. LondonRingRules
Re: Huge upset in Mexico --- Would the WBC #1 be fighting for the WBC Silver belt? Well, no matter, sounds like a good upset. Insert every dog has it's day.

LondonRingRules
Re: Huge upset in Mexico --- Thanks for the vid.Interesting in after Ceej drops Manz into the ropes with a series of rabbits with a pt deduction by the ref, he leads Ceej to the corner to be examined by Doc who cleans up his bloody nose. Been a back and forth battle , but at the end of the last rd, officials are examining Ceej again in his corner and fight is stopped.Did Ceej quit or did the doc quit him?
