The_budweiser
Still, as Hart himself wrote in his piece in UK tabloid The Sun, there are sure to be plenty of people who disagree with his top-10. Here it is: 1: Joe Calzaghe 2: Ken Buchanan 3: John Conteh 4: Lloyd Honeyghan 5: Lennox Lewis 6: Nigel Benn 7: Carl Froch 8: Naseem Hamed 9: Ricky Hatton 10: Barry McGuigan Who would be on your list? Agree with Colin Hart's list?
gavpowell
Re: Colin Hart's Top 10 greatest living British fighters "Still, as Hart himself wrote in his piece in UK tabloid The Sun" - if you're going to plagiarise, try to make it less obvious. Ken Buchanan at number 2? For almost beating Duran?

Won it and didn't even bother defending it a month later - Anyone remember why?

Charles Bellamy and James Callaghan won Japanese titles, didn't make them Japanese ;)
LondonRingRules
Re: Colin Hart's Top 10 greatest living British fighters --- Sam Langford blind in one eye and unable to see out of the other won and defended the Mexican heavy title in Mexico. I do believe that confers honorary Mexican citizenship, most esp given he likely fathered at least a half dozen kids there. Was Barry ever knighted by the Queen? At any rate # 10 ain't shabby though jimmy Wilde and randy Turpin deserve a slot, Wilde being perhaps #1.
