Could we be set for Whyte vs Browne, who wins?

Dillian Whyte has branded Lucas Browne a "big baby" and questioned whether the Australian is willing to settle their feud in the ring.

The Brixton man is the newly-crowned British heavyweight champion after stopping Ian Lewison in the 10th round earlier this month and hopes to fight once more before the end of the year.

A domestic fight with Dereck Chisora is yet to be agreed and Whyte is prepared to target other rivals including Browne, who has exchanged heated words with 'The Body Snatcher' on Twitter.

Browne is waiting to discover his next opponent after being granted another shot at the WBA 'regular' belt following a legal dispute and Whyte would welcome a future fight with 'Big Daddy', if he regains a version of the world title.

"Yeah I definitely want to fight Lucas Browne," Whyte exclusively told Sky Sports. "Lucas Browne is a big baby. All he does is whine and cry about everything.

"He keeps talking about he's a world champion, he wants his world title back. He needs to fight some contenders. He says I'm not ranked, but clearly I'm ranked 13 in the WBC. Lucas Browne is not even ranked in the top 40 of the WBC.

"Me and him would be a good fight on Sky Sports. That would be a fight that everyone would tune into."

Whyte had been expecting to face Chisora in December but thinks the Finchley fighter's recent actions are a clear indication that he no longer wants the fight.

Re: Could we be set for Whyte vs Browne, who wins?

I'm so bloody tired of all the fake "bad blood" in boxing. Ugh.....

But regardless, this would be a most interesting fight.

I'd be rooting for Browne, who sadly doesn't have time on his side. (And would probably get screwed again if he gets anywhere near a title fight.)

Whyte doesn't seem to have the desire to train properly, not even for the fight of his life against AJ, so screw him. If he beats Browne then that ends one still-possible career, while adding nothing to the overall HW landscape. At this point, while I was once very supportive of Whyte, I now see him as nothing more than an annoying stumbling block for the entire division.

Another McDermott/Chisora - Doesn't have the commitment out side the ring and it shows every time they stepped through the ring.

I would take Browne every day of the week.

Yet you still backed him to beat AJ!? Did you know about this lack of desire to train before that fight or is it just the follow-up excuse as he's not turned out as you'd hoped? :haha:

The latter, of course. So why the smiley-face?

Looks like Browne will fight for the WBA super or regular belt after a legal settlement. With all these belt's being split between the fighters, it makes the division interesting but I can't see the fighters wanting to fight each other straight away as they will want to hold the belt for a while and make some money.

Browne vs Whyte makes sence for Browne, and I think he would beat the half-arsed Whyte.
