creed
Al Haymon is in talks with ITV about bringing PBC cards to the UK. The Premier Boxing Champions series could be hitting our TV screens before the end of the year with ITV4 showing an event. Haymon has 4 UK fighters in Frampton, Selby, DeGale and Khan but I don't see any of them featuring on ITV. ITV Glasgow has recently showed boxing matches and this would be great news if ITV started supporting boxing shows again. Source: BS
selij
Re: 20 boxing shows per year coming to ITV - talks ongoing Gotta be good news if it comes off. More boxing on tv, especially free to air is very welcome at my gaff.............
WelshDevilRob
Re: 20 boxing shows per year coming to ITV - talks ongoing People saying that the amount of PBC cards in the US is slowing down - money worries? Are ITV willing to pay or looking for free fights or break into the PPV market? Not heard any boxer say they will be on ITV.
pittbox
Re: 20 boxing shows per year coming to ITV - talks ongoing I think ITV had cards primarily from Hennessy and smaller promotion groups? Wonder if they can produce 20 quality cards per year.
