On November 12, he will get another opportunity to become champion when he faces Jason Sosa for the WBA World super featherweight title, rumoured to take place in Monaco. On Monday, the fight was confirmed by promoter Sampson Lewkowicz, whose fighter, Javier Fortuna, has a major stake in the Smith-Sosa fight. It’s his old belt that they will be fighting for and Fortuna wants it back. “The winner of Sosa vs Smith will need to face Fortuna,” said Lewkowicz to Boxing News. “This is under contract.
