iamasadlittleboy
This is awesome! I have Salido in the lead after 2 10-8's (the 6th must be a 10-8....)
WelshDevilRob
Upset - JuanMa stopped on his feet in the 7th. Bit premature but Lopez was in trouble.

RAZZ-MCFC
hahaha what a shame! Very happy he lost! i think that settles all doubt over who'd win between Gamboa and Juanma! Gamboa ate those shots for 12 rounds! never really rated Lopez from the first time i watched him, last night did nothing at all to change that! donlevy
I won't say I'm glad he lost but I'm happy that Bob Arum is probably crying his eyes out right now. Upset of the year?...Seem to be seeing a lot of them all of a sudden... Good chance of it.Lopez is rated in The Ring's top ten p4p list.

Good chance of it.Lopez is rated in The Ring's top ten p4p list. i would say so also Morales easily would have been if he'd beaten Maidana last weekend but that wasn't to be i think at the moment it's Lemieux, Kirkland and Lopez in the running, but i think i'd definitely have to go with Lopez as he's the high profile name that nobody expected to lose this one, given that the other 2 were also not expeced to lose but still i think Ortiz-Berto would miss out because Ortiz has proven he has skills but just needed a bit of grit between his teeth and to show some heart, it would of been an upset if he stopped him but because it went the 12 i wouldn't have that in

Siren1927
Very good fight and to be honest you could see it coming from the first round on. Juanma looked very flat tonight and not focused on the job in hand. He needs six months off to get his head straight imo

I edsel77x, will have a super-sized pie, not a slice, of you household Lemon Meringue Humble pie. And eat it ever so humbly. Salido was tougher than I thought!!! I was not able to see the fight very well due to bad stream but I have it downloading now and will write my unbiased assessment for RN24. I'll give you the link for you to read. Skav
That was a controversial ending. I don't know what to think. On the one hand, it looked as if Lopez was just seconds from being stopped but on the other, he was punching back at that precise time.
Crusader
in boxing is not enough to be the strongest, have the ko punch if you're not mentally focused and polished....find an opponent with balls of steel and you lose

Juanma looked very flat tonight and not focused on the job in hand. He needs six months off to get his head straight imo He looked uninterested and lethargic. The divorce had more an effect than he admitted. He really should not have tried banging with Salido. Gamboa showed the recipe for beating him. By boxing him. Great fight and a rematch is in order. grapevine241
i thought the stoppage was a bit weak --- though im not complaining. great job by salido. i cant say juanma was exposed as we've known about this problems for quite some time now, but this loss definitely knocks him down in the P4P sense. thanks you bob arum for depriving us of undefeated gamboa vs. undefeated juanma

Out of interest, all this talk of Lopez moving upto 130lbs - was that cos he was weight drained now? Seems possible though his chin has always seemed shaky.
