The_budweiser
A Las Vegas showdown between Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has most likely been ruled out after the Mexican's defeat to Andrzej Fonfara on Saturday night. What now for Froch? Ward, DeGale, retirement, Other?

Ward, DeGale, retirement, Other? --- Nothing big left for Froch, so he should retire. Let the rest of the stinkers leak in their shorts over the money they could've made in England fight Froch as they survey the dismal earnings from what is left. WelshDevilRob
Re: What's next for Carl Froch? (spoilers) Can't see anything out there for him. Him and Ward won't agree on a venue and unless Froch fancies moving up and facing Kovalev or Stevenson - there is nothing left. I suppose Brahmer might be an option but it's the weak route. Just chuck him on a PBC card in Vegas defending against a Haymon fighter.
gavpowell
Re: What's next for Carl Froch? (spoilers) I've said before but I'm surprised Froch hasn't been tempted to move up as part of his eternal quest to escape the shadow of Calzaghe(which nobody but him even thinks about anymore) - I know he's had plenty to do at 168lbs, but I thought once he saw PAscal holding a belt, he'd fancy doing the double.
