Inoue returns on July 6th!

Takuma Inoue (4-0, 1) will return on July 6th as he takes on Filipino Mark Anthony Geraldo (31-5-3, 14) in a bout for the OPBF Super Flyweight title.

 

Takuma, the younger brother of Naoya, is on line to keep pace with his brother's achievement of winning an OPBF title in fight #5 and looks to claim a world title in fight #6 just like the "Monster".

 

Although not as highly regarded as his brother Takuma has looked sensational in out pointing world ranked foes such as Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr and Nestor Daniel Narvaez already in his career.

I would have been more excited to hear about Naoya, but it's great to see Takuma in another fight. For a prospect, he's been relatively inactive and this fight will be his first of the year. I'm still impressed by it, however. He's nowhere near as progressed as Noaya Inoue (and it's not like anybody else is), but is still being moved fast. Geraldo has nearly forty fights and has given some exceptional fighters difficult fights. He's not a pushover but could pose plenty of issues if this goes the distance. I would still expect the Japanese fighter to win all but three or four rounds, but I couldn't possibly complain about a fight like this for him at this juncture.
