was now !!

The EBU appointed Leo Bundu and Daniele Petrucci as co-challenger for the vacant bell at 147 lbs, both fighters are undefeated and are currently (with Andrea Sarritzu, Brunet Zamora and Domenico Spada) the top p4p of Spaghetti boxing, is interesting and good matchup for the our poor boxing movement..

The Italian boxing organization Buccioni Boxing Team headed by Davide Buccioni in synergy with Armando De Clemente Promotions Sport will try and revive the Italian boxing scene staging an explosive Euro title clash at welterweight limit on Saturday night in the suggestive and historical location, the Central Tennis Stadium at the Foro Italico in Rome, Italy. Local hero and IBF I/C champ Daniele Petrucci (28-0-1, 10 KOs) and the WBA Intercontinental titlist Leonard Bundu (24-0-1, 7 KOs) are the co-challengers for the vacant crown.

Both undefeated fighters are very hard and strong warriors. ‘Boom Boom’ Bundu, a former amateur star is extremely popular in Italy, due to his aggressive style and his ‘take-no-prisoners’ attitude, Bundu currently is also the EBU-EU 147lb king, but Petrucci, is a real ‘steel-man’ who made his name in Europe with his win against Craig Watson and Neil Sinclair.

All in all, an exciting derby matchup between two of the best Italian fighters pound-for-pound, the media interest level for this fight is very high and is expected a sold-out with a football-like atmosphere on the stands.

On the undercard, undefeated local boy Daniele Moruzzi (7, 5 KOs) will fight dangerous Massimiliano Buccheri (8-1-1) in a middleweight contest and rising light middleweight prospect Manuel Ernesti (9, 4 KOs) battles decent Polish Sebastian Skrypczynski (5-4-1).

Bundu vs Petrucci will be aired live in Italy on RAIDUE starting at 10:40pm local time.
