WelshDevilRob
Pulled out against Chisora twice claiming injury. Was it genuine? The photo below was taken at the time he pulled out the first time against Chisora. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/multimedia/dynamic/00673/Wladimir_Klitschko2_673635e.jpg By Jeff Greer Palm Beach Post Staff Writer Updated: 7:43 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 Posted: 7:06 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 PALM BEACH GARDENS — There's a picture of heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko at PGA National posing next to "The Bear Trap" bear statue, the imposing symbol of the three demanding holes designed by Jack Nicklaus on the Champion course. The statue depicts a bear standing on his hind legs, menacing in both stature and nature. On Wednesday, the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Klitschko took his own intimidating presence to PGA National for a round of golf.
Joe Ko
Im not sure, I think it was on/off Haye talks, and now finally got the deal done, he pulled out again.
Skav
Of course he was. Just like Haye was when Setanta went bust and the fight got called off back then.

Johnny Walker
The whole thing seems contrived to me. I believe the injury is merely a plot device to the soap opera Wlad/Haye has become.
Zippy
I feel sorry for Chisora. I know he's not in the same league as Wlad but after signing contracts with him and Chisora training and being up for it, Klitscho should've given him his chance. I was also thinking that maybe Klitschko was worried that if Chisora somehow managed to win the bout, it would risk an even bigger pay day with Haye later on. Sounds crazy I know, but the kind of things that go on in boxing I wouldn't be surprised!
Irishfan
Its hard to know here. Its easily believeable that he would fake the injury to get the big money fight set up with Haye...but if that was true then why did they apparently leave open the option of haye facing vitiali?? iamasadlittleboy
Should be noted the picture was a publicty shot and not from an actual round of golf.
The_budweiser
Steve Bunce was convinced he didnt want to fight the hungry Chisora because he didnt fancy it and faked a injury

gavpowell
I was gonna say - all night long, Bucne was backing Enzo to beat Haye and then when Haye sparked him out, Bunce was Haye's biggest fan.
Sheils
Maybe so, the injury could have been convenient. As too could be the fact that Chisora was British - deliberately chosen help Haye to make the fight? Either way the belts will be coming back to the UK and Wlad won't be faking his injuries! londoner
I don't think you can actually "duck" Chisora and then fight Haye. That wouldn't really make sense. So i don't think he was scared of Chisora in anyway. But, i do think what probably happened was he accepted a fight with Chisora in an attempt to embarrass Haye by saying: "Look! I'm fighting a British fighter. You're too scared so i'll fight a different Brit instead". But, then a fight with Haye was negotiated and so he faked an injury to get out of it. As for the first "injury" which lead to him to initially pull out of the Chisora bout. That's tough. I give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was probably really injured. WelshDevilRob
Anyone know if ticket sales were poor for the fights - I have seen that hinted at.
