Anthony Joshua, the current British champion, has been suspended by the British Amateur Boxing Association after being charged with possession with intent to supply. The 21-year-old will appear in court in Hendon on Wednesday to answer the charge. "We have been made aware of an incident and we are conducting an investigation," said a BABA spokesman. "Given the nature of the charge, we've suspended the person involved." The 6'6", 16 stone fighter is considered a genuine medal prospect for next year's Olympics. He was recently offered £50,000 to turn professional, but instead chose to carry on training with the GB development squad in order to target Olympic glory.
