Re: Has Eddie Hearn failed fans in 2014?

Might an explanation be that he once took more risks with his fighters, laid down some good cards and acquired decent talent of the back of these things to propel himself into the leading promoter in the country.

Now he's cemented that status he's taking the more cautious approach right out of Warrens book to protect his cashcows and line pockets with the least risk involved?

Exactly what I was going to say.

Came onto the boxing scene, making waves for the quality of his cards.

And in almost no time at all, now he's monopolised the TV deals and fighter contracts, he's reverted to the form of every other useless cant promoter and started tossing out dud cards, trying to make a fast buck for the smallest risk and effort.

He's the next Warren. Next year, he'll do the exact same, with the exception of a good card every 6 months.

He's having a bad run with Quigg, Brook and Crolla injured. Be interesting to see how 2015 pans out for him. He's got alot of boxers on his books, so at times it's a juggling act. He's a business man first, boxing fan second - so expect him to look to make the most money and over a sustained period.
