Faulks
Ancliff gets a chance for a second Scottish title James Ancliff of Aberdeen has a chance to pick up a second Scottish title when he fights Jason Hastie of Edinburgh for the vacant Scottish featherweight title on the bill of Alex Morrison's show on the 25th of this month. Ancliff is dropping a weight to contest this one as he already has the super-featherweight strap. Had this been the amateurs I'd have had to point towards the Edinburgh man. However, it is the professionals and Ancliff should have an edge on experience with his greater range of bouts and opponents, albeit that Hastie is undefeated in seven outings - but hasn't been over four rounds yet and he's fought one of his opponents (Robin Deakin) three times and another (Mark Bett) twice in the seven outings. I feel the edge has to go to the man from Fettercairn, having been the championship distance of ten rounds with Richard Barclay, and another tough eight rounder with Ryan Walsh. http://news.boxrec.com/news/2011/ancliff-gets-chance-second-scottish-title?
