Faulks
Fury opponent named Unbeaten 6’9 heavyweight Tyson Fury will be taking on another undefeated knockout specialist in 6’5 Brazilian Marcelo Luiz Nascimento in a ten-rounder at Wembley Arena on Saturday. After Fury’s fight with Francois Botha was knocked back by the BBBofC, Fury did not hesitate in accepting “the Hammer,” whose record is 13-0 with 11 KOs, similar to Fury’s record of 13-0 with 9 KOs. “It angers me when you see so called heavyweight prospects keep having bums put in front of them every time,” said Fury. I don’t want to go through my career like that, I want to show them how it’s done, so I’m taking on this guy who has an unbeaten record and is a massive puncher, this is what you have to do to become a star.” Nascimento remains subject to medical approval by the BBBofC. http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/fury-opponent-named-75537?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=fury-opponent-named
iamasadlittleboy
Wasn't this the guy he'd agreed to fight already then the guy pulled out?
WelshDevilRob
The video of him knocking out Basille is in the video section. Very hard KO finish but the opponent had a very padded record and was also destroyed in a round by Dimitrencho. Limited fighter but be interesting to see what happens if he catches Fury on the chin. Sheils
This guy may well come to fight rather than just take a pay day. It will be interesting to see how much Fury has developed.

Very true and its a good opponent. Better than some Eastern European whose used to getting beat. Could be Fury's Bredis Prescott?
brooklynbrawler
Any opponent who can bang at heavyweight, is going to be dangerous. Don't know too much about him, but Fury deserves a lot of credit for the path he's gone down so far...

Faulks
Be interesting to see how he's improved now hes got a decent trainer. The conditioning is something that needs improving vastly if he is to go anywhere
Crusader
Often come from Brazil fighters with impressive records, true king of knock-out, then in the ring it's another story...fighters not at decent level
Joe Ko
Opponent could turn out to be terrible but he is unbeaten and can punch, its better than a journeyman bum. Seen this guy few times and he knocks people out cold. I think he is better than Rich Power and is alot taller and stronger looking

brooklynbrawler
Ominously, Fury is about the same build as Basile...although obviously that bit taller. This is a dangerous fight for him.

londoner
Should be an interesting bout. Like Brooklyn says above, any HW who can pack a punch is dangerous.
