It will allow the winner to face Khan with all the belts intact, and a 4 title unification may be on the cards. An unique feat in modern boxing if it actually happens. I vaguely remember being disgusted by this then, and feel the same now. I had forgotten all about it to be honest, and it further adds to the poor decisions the alphabets make day in day out, and even counters the WBC finally getting something right. The guys who hold 3 of the 4 world titles sign a fight, and at one point, it looked like whoever won could have emerged with a single belt at the end of it, because of that decision?!? Madness...
