WelshDevilRob Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Denis Boytsov update In December, WBA and WBC #2, WBO #4 heavyweight Denis Boytsov (28-0, 23 KOs) had his problematic right hand operated on for the second time, but it looks like he’ll be able return to the ring in April. “It was foreseeable during the first operation that, perhaps, an other operation would be necessary, explained Universum doctor Michael Ehnert. “This was confirmed in his tune-up fight [in December]. He’s now come through the second operation, and the surgeon is satisfied with the healing process. Boytsov stated, “I had the first operation and felt an improvement. I hope that now I’ll have further progression. I think in a few weeks I can do extensive training. For now I can only maintain my basic fitness.
