grapevine241
this tournament takes forever
Joe Ko
this tournament takes forever Honestly despite all the problems I think its been awesome. Fight Camp 360 has really made fights more exciting and intruiging, I think everything that could go wrong went wrong.
brooklynbrawler
Yeah, it was a good idea in theory, but most fighters nowadays are inactive enough without being tied into a single tournament for 3 years...
londoner
I think the S6 has had a LOT of negatives (injuries, problems with venue, Taylor pulling out after 1 bout, Ward not willing to travel, fighters arguing over what neutral venue....) but overall it will be remembered for mostly positive things. Just look at how great Ward and Froch now seem to us fans. Ward was an unknown, he's now rated by many as one of the best fighters in the World. Froch was a very good fighter before the tournament, he's now rated as one of the best at 168lbs. It has provided us with LOADS of great bouts. It's been problematic and far from perfect but overall it's been great for boxing.

If it was an elimination type thing wed still have those views though
londoner
Yeah, IAM. I would rather see an elimination tournament from now on starting with 4 quarter finals. But, any kind of tournament must seem like a good idea after the S6 has finished.
