This Saturday sees Brazil's mega talented Yamaguchi Falcao make his professional debut.

The Golden Boy promoted 26 year old from São Mateus, Espírito Santo, is best known for his exploits at the 2012 Olympic games in London. At London he claimed a bronze medal in the Light Heavyweight division losing to Egor Mekhontsev.

Prior to the Olympics Yamaguchi had won Silver at the 2011 Pan American Games, losing to Julio César la Cruz, who he later beat in the Oympics.

Yamaguchi will be facing unbeaten Argentinian Martin Fidel Rios (10-0-2, 4) on one of the biggest Brazilian shows in recent memory. The 21 year old Rios, ranked 188 at Middleweight by Boxrec, will be given next to no chance though does have a solid looking record for a debuting foe of an Olympic champion.

This past week also saw Yamaguchi's brother, Esquiva, hitting the Top Rank gym and meeting up with his Olympic rival Ryota Murata as. Esquiva, who signed with Top Rank, will be debuting himself in February.
