--- The card is distinctly lacking any depth and the main event is hardly PPV quality not that Canelo and Angulo aren't quality operators who may well reprise a FOY scrap for the fans.

GBP has a history of this with their failed Guerrro/Floydy PPV numbers that saw the main supporting bout between two featherweights Mares and Ponce de Leon over a cast of the usual GB suspects. Guys like Molina and Canelo's little brother certainly deserve fights, but there should be at least a Matthyse, Danny Garcia, or even a Wilder to spice up the interest.

Promoters looking greedy and it's starting to backfire. Canelo did great in his first PPV headline with record figures, but that was Floydy, not Angulo. Whatever, beating Angulo is gonna be enough risk without worrying about PPV numbers that have been greatly inflated by the rivalry between Manny and Floydy.

True dat. - but Canelo is still a huge draw with the Mexican fans, and they buy a LOT of PPV's.

I think the main event will be surprisingly entertaining, simply because Angulo is such a rabbid dog in the ring. He's gonna' bring it & bring it.... Until he makes a mistake on the inside, and Canelo takes him out.

Calling it "stacked" is REALLY stretching things. Santa Cruz-Mijares is okay, but IMO the Main Event is weak as far as PPV events go (obviously taking advantage of Canello's Mexican fan base) and even though I agree with Scott that Akarawa-Linares might be a sleeper, it's not worth what they're asking.
