Kid Galahad: Frampton doesn't have the confidence to beat me

Re: Kid Galahad: Frampton doesn't have the confidence to beat me

To wait for Quigg to offer him a fig leaf. Frampton has no chance against LSC or Rigo and when Quigg unifies he'll be begging uncle Eddie for a world title fight.

Well...he beats Quigg, thats almost certain. Quigg would need to have the night of his life and Frampton the worst night of his to beat Frampton.

He got offered a Quigg fight in 2013 and turned it down, he has no confidence in fighting fellow Brits, as seen here with him giving up the Euro title rather than fight a Brit. Only so many crappy French guys out there for him.

There you go again-making BOLD statements!:ranger: Where is your PROOF!:boxing1:

Re: Kid Galahad: Frampton doesn't have the confidence to beat me

My proof is that he has TWICE turned down fights with fellow Brits, and has instead, over the last 10 months, fought an apalling French guy. If Galahad was such an easy fight then beat him in a stay busy bout rather than sit on the side lines, twiddling your thumbs like a mismanaged Warren fighter....

Ahem...and how do you know he did that 'cause he wanted bigger fish? Maybe he simply finds it a waste of his time to fight BRITS? Who are not exactly the CREAM of the division?

Twiddling your thumbs on the side line is wasting time. I want bigger fish but if I need to take a few small fishes for my lunch I take them. The big fish don't want him and he'll be left, like so many, waiting...waiting...waiting...especially with McGuigan and Warren behind him.

If he's not fighting then he may as well be David Haye or Dmitry Pirog, waiting...waiting...waiting...

I'm not his bloody manager, ok? Ask Barry why he turned it down. I do agree fighting smaller fish while waiting for the bigger ones is better than just waiting and being inactive.

It's no more rubbish than thinking that Frampton can go out and claim the WBO or WBC title. The guy is either going to not be a world champion any time soon...or is going to go, crawl over to uncle Eddie, apologise for listening to Barry and beg for a chance at Quigg...

Have I missed something with Galahad? Because the one I saw was very ordinary, if quick. I don't rate Quigg either, which is why Frampton ought to be grabbing that fight and battering him for his paper title.

No you haven't-he IS very ordinary and has as much chance of beating Frampton as Audley has of beating Wlad!

Boz there is nothing wrong with a fighter having belief in his own abilitys. Bit harsh calling him a comedian, upsets happen all the time.

How many of us laughed at Groves recently? How many of us wrote off Maidana so easily?

Would you rather he said "I'm shite come fight me and I will loose."

Harsh? Not really, when he goes so far to say Frampton got no confidence to beat him, as he really was such a serious challenge-rofl! Trust me-Galahad ain't Groves or Maidana. He's another overhyped Brit.

To be overhyped you must be well known or thought of highly. I don't think he is either Boz.

What makes you think he is overhyped?

The EBU believe Galahad to be the best challenger in Europe for the European title...

I've never really noticed the EBU being noticeably stupid before - are they as corrupt as the big four or is this a blip?

I always thought they did a pretty good job of being evenhanded, but any group is going to have a favorite or two that get favorable treatment, perhaps this is one of those rare cases.

Other official challengers-

H-Pulev

C-Ouanna

LH-Mohammedi

SM-Ndiaye and Rebrasse

M-Spada

LM-Vitu

W-Branco

LW-McCloskey

L-Mezaache

SF-Fegatilli

F-Munroe and Selby

SB-Galahad and Prado (following Frampton's vacation)

B-Zhakiyanov

These were from NOVEMBER which appears to be the most recent month. Since then though McCloskey has lost.

Worth noting about Super Bantamweight, only 9 men, including the 2 challengers, have even been ranked.
