LondonRingRules
Re: Fighters to keep an eye on in 2014 Which fighters would you advise keeping an extra close eye on in 2014 for one reason or another? --- I'd say Tyson Fury. Now that he's disposed of Pink, he can concentrate on making a splash to set up Wlad or the WBC vacant title winner.
BoztheMadman
Re: Fighters to keep an eye on in 2014 I don't know if he "qualifies" or not but Lee Selby is def someone to keep an eye on in the coming year. With Garcia now gone from 126 and guys like Gradovich (who is a good fighter in his own right but far from incredible) holding belts, I think he can def make some noise there. Also we got Matt Korobov...would love to see him against Gennady. But not right now, in future maybe.

QBoxing
Re: Fighters to keep an eye on in 2014 Trying not to copy anything from previous posts: Gabriel Bracero (23-1) - He was shocked by ''Chop Chop" Corley at one point but has bounced back in a big way. Nice win to Dmitry Salita to close the year. Callum Smith (9-0) - Best of the Smith bros. Lots of potential. Anthony Joshua (3-0) - Obvious one for UK fans. Hughie Fury (12-0) -- Looks great at Heavyweight. And, well, only 19! Erkan Teper (15-0) -- Coming off of KOs of Rogan, Sprott. Improving. Denis Shafikov -- Time to take down Miguel Vazquez. So glad to see the exposure for him. Illunga Makabu (15-1) - Broke out..but only to hardcore fans. This fighter is going mainstream against Cleverly. Eddie Gomez (15-0) - Really good pickup by GBP. Packs a punch and should blow away Daquan Arnett. Dierry Jean (25-0) - He's between a prospect and a contender right now...and I'm picking this banger to beat Peterson and become a champion. Ivan Redkach (15-0) - Good fighters who's first contest of note comes in January on Shobox. He should pass through Tony Luis with flying colors. Levgen Khytrov (1-0) - Second Ukrainian! Still, this guy's a blue chip prospect. Former Olympian. Looked awesome in debut. Felix Verdejo -- Prospect of the year for '13. Time for the big stage. Plus many more. Just some which I like. Ton
Re: Fighters to keep an eye on in 2014 Wasn't Korobov "one to watch" about 2010? Saw him on a few GBP promos and looked good but fighting cans. Mustn't have done much in the meantime.
BoztheMadman
Re: Fighters to keep an eye on in 2014 Jesse Magdaleno is also one to keep an eye on, he's harder hitting than his brother and therefore better to watch. He got a fight in February against Roberto Castaneda. So far he's 17-0 with 13 knockouts.
The_budweiser
Re: Fighters to keep an eye on in 2014 A few I can think of from Scotland Mike Towell - 2-0-1 Iain Butcher - Flyweight - 9-1 (should be 10-0) Gary Cornish - Heayweight - 17-0 Stephen Simmons - Crusierweight - 9-
