The Klitschko Brothers to gather 150 philanthropists for

[East Side Boxing]

The Klitschko Foundation Third Charity Gala will be held in Kiev, Ukraine, on 5 December 2013. More than 150 guests from all over the world will be there to lend their support to the Klitschko brothers’ charitable initiatives, and to raise funds for the sport and educational projects of the Klitschko Foundation. A charity auction will be held as the part of the Gala evening and will feature exclusive lots from the Klitschko brothers themselves and their celebrity friends. Details of the lots and the evening’s entertainment programme are currently being kept under wraps, but it’s known that Sylvester Stallone and Hayden Panettiere will be at the event. This Gala evening will be the foundation’s third; the previous Gala evenings were in 2010 and 2012 and some $2.7 million was raised at both events. The headline act at the first gala evening was the German rockband Scorpions. Not only did the band appear on stage, but they donated a guitar as a lot for the auction as well. At the second charity auction, Wladimir Klitschko’s Olympic gold medal was sold for $1 million.
