According to the official Guinness webpage, the current record stands at 106.6 dBA. It was recorded during a time-out of the LA Clippers-Milwaukee Bucks NBA game at Bradley Centre, Milwaukee in December 2008. Some five years later, there will be two attempts within just 24 hours. On Friday night (Nov. 15), the Sacramento Kings will try to break the record during their home game against the Detroit Pistons. On Saturday, the home fans of WBA & WBO Intercontinental Middleweight Champion Patrick Nielsen (20-0, 9 KOs) will give it a go at MusikTeatret Albertslund, which is located just outside Copenhagen. “Boxing is all about timing and countering,” promoter Nisse Sauerland said. “Should needs be we will land the decisive counterpunch and knock out the Kings´ record. Make no mistake, we wish them the best of luck. They have done a brilliant job with their viral #HereWeRoar campaign. But we´ll take it one step further - #HereWeRoarKO.” More...
