East Side Boxing
Al Bernstein feels injury free James DeGale MBE is “buoyed” for his WBC Silver super middleweight title defence at Glow, Bluewater, on November 16th. The legendary Hall of Fame boxing analyst believes it would be “heartbreaking” for the 2008 Olympic gold medalist should he fail to defend his WBC Silver title and the possibility of him losing his momentum towards a world title adds to the “drama” of the upcoming contest. “DeGale is buoyed for his fight by the fact that he is 100% healthy. In recent bouts he has been nagged by some recurring injuries,” Bernstein said. “But for his close loss to George Groves, James DeGale would be undefeated now, and his mission to get a world title shot could well be in it’s final stages. “The super middleweight division remains one of the most talented filled in all of boxing and it speaks well for DeGale that he is ranked in the top 10 of all four of the major organising bodies. “So, it would be especially heartbreaking for DeGale if he lost this match and with it the momentum he has built toward a title opportunity – That adds an element of drama to this fight.” […] http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/eastsideboxing/egEo?d=yIl2AUoC8zA http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/eastsideboxing/egEo?i=KQ8a4Q4XaDs:F0hVv1xniTs:D7DqB2pKExk http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/eastsideboxing/egEo?d=qj6IDK7rITs More...
