Australian Boxing: Randy Petalcorin, Michael Zerafa in Action This Friday Night

This Friday night at the Malvern Town Hall, Melbourne, Australia, Peter Maniatis Promotions hosts a nine fight card of boxing headed by WBA #2 light flyweight, Randy Petalcorin (19-1-1, 14 KOs). Petalcorin has flown in from the Philippines and has spent the past month in Melbourne acclimatising to the conditions. He has been training at the BoxingFit gym in Port Melbourne under the guidance of leading Melbourne trainer Mick Hargreaves. Prior to arriving in Australia, Petalcorin had been in training camp with Manny Pacquiao in General Santos at Pacquiao’s gym MP Towers. Petalcorin will do battle with Thailand’s Samransak Singmanasak (35-20-1, 27 Kos) over 12 rounds in a defence of his PABA light flyweight title. In the main supporting bout, Oscar Ledlin (7-0, 1 KOs) will challenge Ben Capps (7-1-1, 2 KOs) for the vacant WBC Asia Council Continental light middleweight title over 10 rounds. Also in action on the night is undefeated Victorian Michael Zerafa (11-0, 5 KOs), now campaigning at middleweight, who will take on Thai Manopnoi Singmanasak (10-16, 6 KOs) over eight rounds.
