HBO’s hit late-night boxing franchise presents an action-packed tripleheader when HBO BOXING AFTER DARK: ROCKY MARTINEZ VS. MIKEY GARCIA, NONITO DONAIRE VS. VIC DARCHINYAN II AND VANES MARTIROSYAN VS. DEMETRIUS ANDRADE is seen SATURDAY, NOV. 9 at 9:30 p.m. (live ET/tape-delayed PT) from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Tex., exclusively on HBO. The HBO Sports team of Jim Lampley, Max Kellerman and Roy Jones Jr. will be ringside for the event, which will be available in HDTV, closed-captioned for the hearing-impaired and presented in Spanish on HBO Latino. Other HBO playdates: Nov. 10 (9:00 a.m.) and 11 (12:30 a.m.) HBO2 playdates: Nov. 10 (4:00 p.m.) and 12 (11:30 p.m.) In the 12-round main event, Puerto Rico’s Roman “Rocky” Martinez (27-1-2, 16 KOs) puts his junior lightweight title on the line against fast-rising Mikey Garcia (32-0, 27 KOs) of Oxnard, Cal. Martinez, 30, will be defending his belt for the third time this year following a split-decision victory over the previously undefeated Diego Magdaleno in April.
