Your Top 5 most entertaining fighters?

Re: Your Top 5 most entertaining fighters?

Erik Morales: my favourite fighter of all time. In his early days as a bantam/super-bantam, he had sublime skills to go with his Mexican warrior mentality and he's one of the few people who really means it when he says "I fight for the fans."

Carl Froch: His skills aren't fantastic and he has a nasty habit of getting lazy in the ring, but he's got decent power and comes to fight, and he's clearly determined to fight the leading lights in his division. His whinging about the first Kessler result takes the gloss off a little, but he's good value when he gets in the ring.

Roman Gonzalez: A rare talent, the guy can do it all and has done it against some of the best in the world. Hits like a sledgehammer with either hand, pretty good handspeed and puts his punches together beautifully.

Carl Frampton: Not since Hatton have I looked at a young prospect and thought "this guy is going all the way." He seems to have it all: fighting heart, a good punch, a ood boxing brain and ambition to go with it. If only he hadn't signed for Warren.

Tyson Fury: Yes, he's going to get demolished by David Haye, but he's never in a dull fight that I've ever seen. He seems to have decent power and fights aggressively but his defence is obviously rather ropey. Still, nobody said you had to be any good to be entertaining.

Re: Your Top 5 most entertaining fighters?

Really been struggling with this.

I always look forward to watching Yaegashi, K. Porpramook, Golovkin, Rios, Alvarado, Pacquiao, R. Gonzalez, T.Miura, K. Eto, K. Takayama, J.F. Estrada....

1-Porpramook-

Guy has been in 2 of the best fights over the past few years (Hernandez I and Eto) and seems to make every fight exciting.

2-Yaegashi-

Like Porpramook he has been involved in a number of thrillers recently (Pornsawan Porpramook, Kazuto Ioka, Toshiyuki Igarashi). The Blanquet fight was a stinker but with Sosa up next he'llbe back on form

3-Gonzalez

See what Gav said said bout him. A little guy with power, wants to fight the best and supreme skills. Great

4-Estrada

Fights with Gonzalez and Viloria gets him in here.

5-Golovkin

When he fights you know someone is going down, can't ask for much more than that

Re: Your Top 5 most entertaining fighters?

Gennady Golovkin (A wrecking machine. Hard to see him losing to anybody else than the very best defensive fighters.. Ward, Mayweather)

Amir Khan (It's always exciting when Khan's fighting, that speed and talent vs the chin. Love the guy's heart, hope he hasn't lost his confidence he had before)

Leo Santa Cruz (Might be the compubox leader of punches thrown at the moment.. exciting to watch, and seemingly a great guy)

Manny Pacquiao (Simply wouldn't miss a Pacquiao fight, hope really much that he still has it against Rios. Should be exciting no matter what the outcome)

Ruslan Provodnikov (The guy likes to F-I-G-H-T)

Despite his high KO ratio, I think GGG is mundane to watch. Don't know why, maybe it's because he always looks so laid back.

Khan

Rios

Fury

Pacquiao

I don't have a fifth but Juan Diaz could take it if he keeps winning as I've always find his pressure style exciting.

Give me your Top 5. The five you would tune into watch over anyothers. :)

--- I tend to fall into the category of the matchup rather than the fighter, but sure no surprises here:

Manny Pacquiao: Even a bad fight is a good fight compared to the rest of the competition.

The Klitschkos: Every fight is history in the making even when their opponents freeze. Like Wlad introducing a new style stand up MMA ground roll around for boxing where he quintupled his career uppercut numbers in the 7th round alone!

Jhonny Gonzalez: Makes the know it alls eat their own stink and does it in style!

Serey Kovalev: Gotta like this up and comer shaking the cobs out of this light swatter division....look out...((BooM))

Argentine bros, Marcos Maidana and Lucas Matthyse: Fight anyone anywhere and would be equally as undefeated as you know who if they had just as many suits lined up in their corners......
