Chris Male and Troy James went head-to-head as they prepare for their re-arranged showdown at Walsall Town Hall next month. The Midlands pair were due to meet last month but Male suffered a calf injury and James was struck down by illness. Now both fully recovered, the duo met at Wednesbury Boxing Academy ahead of their much-anticipated encounter, which will see the winner move up the rankings and a step closer to a shot at the British Super Featherweight Title, currently held by Liverpool’s Stephen ‘Swifty’ Smith (17-1). The fight takes place on EJKO Promotions’ ‘Double Trouble 2’ show on Saturday, 16th November.
