Bleacher Report
WBO Welterweight Champion Timothy Bradley and challenger Juan Manuel Marquez both easily made weight on Friday afternoon in Las Vegas ahead of their big fight on Saturday night. Bradley tipped the scales at a cut 146 pounds, while Marquez came in a couple of pounds below the limit at 144.5 pounds. Both men appeared in top-top shape ahead of their showdown, and both will enter the ring looking to make a statement. Bradley will be hoping to get a career-defining victory—after his widely panned decision over Manny Pacquiao in 2012—while Marquez will be looking to become the first Mexican fighter to capture a world championship in five weight classes. On the undercard, both Orlando Salido and Orlando Cruz came in within the featherweight limit. They will compete for the vacant WBO 126-pound championship in the main support bout tomorrow night. Cruz, who is seeking to become boxing's first openly gay world champion, weighed-in at 125 pounds while Salido hit the featherweight limit at 126 pounds. Bradley vs. Marquez will be shown live Saturday night on HBO Pay-Per-View, and you can catch all your live round-by-round scoring and analysis here at Bleacher Report beginning at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
