Mabait-Garcia collide this Friday in Mexico

Miami, FL: The successful series of Boxeo TELEMUNDO Ford will have the fourth and final show of the fall series in Mexico City this Friday, October 11, 2013 at the popular Salon Jose Cuervo. In the main event WBO #10 contender Marvin “Chavacano Disaster” Mabait will face WBC #11 contender Johnny “Laberinto” Garcia in a clash schedule for 12 Rounds with the vacant WBO Intercontinental belt at stake. Mabait of Zamboanga City, Philippines, brings a record of 18-1-2-12 KO’s, is trained by Nonito Donaire and managed by former world champion Gerry Penalosa and Vinny Scolpino. Garcia on the other hand is from Ciudad Neza, Mexico and is trained by former world champion Jose Luis Bueno and brings a record of 18-4-1-9 KO’s. The winner of this fight could be in line to face WBO Champion Tomoki Kameda in December. First bell at 8:00 PM, 6 mores fights round up the card.
