Questions that will be answered after “The One”

“The One” PPV boxing card on September 14 headlined by Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez has people asking a lot of questions about the fighters involved. People question Canelo’s level of ability, Danny Garcia’s chin, if Ishe Smith can handle a tough Carlos Molina and all the questions may answered during card but, maybe not. However, there are questions that will be answered regardless of the how the fights play out. 1. Is Ishe Smith worthy of holding a belt? Ishe Smith outpointed Cornelius “k9” Bundrage back in February to win a version of the 154lb title but, did so against an aging Bundrage who, while on a good winning streak, had seen better days in boxing. Carlos Molina, Ishe’s opponent, is a very tough fighter who got the wrong end of a bad decision against Erislandy Lara and was probably winning his fight with James Kirkland before a bizarre DQ ended that one, so Smith being competitive with Molina even in a loss will show that his title win had more to do with him and less with the level of Bundrage. 2.
